The ferries will go into service on Powell river and Texada Island and Port McNeill-Alert bay - Sointula Route. The ferries started their Voyage to Victoria from Constanta, Romania aboard a semi-submersible ship called the Sunrise. After two months at sea the Sunrise submerged its deck to allow the two ferries to be towed from Ogden point to Victoria's harbour.
