H30" xW 30"Acrylic on canvasHybrid electric ferries arrive in Victoria. B.C Ferries make way for the future with the arrival of two hybrid electric ferries. The ferries will go into service on Powell river and Texada Island and Port McNeill-Alert bay - Sointula Route. The ferries started their Voyage to Victoria from Constanta, Romania aboard a semi-submersible ship called the Sunrise. After two months at sea the Sunrise submerged its deck to allow the two ferries to be towed from Ogden point to Victoria's harbour.
